The only idea of having answers to questions like why and how have motivated me to unravel the unexplored boundaries in the field of science where there is an infinite possibility of growing and learning everyday.
Being a PhD student, I am currently trying to understand the role of tRNA modifications in immune cell activation and differentiation. The insights into the study will help us to decipher a new layer of regulation in immune cells at the level of tRNA modifications.

From a very tender age, I have been interested in the working mechanisms of nature. I reminisce that even as an undergrad, what fascinated me most was the human body. The more I learnt, the more intrigued I became. This curiosity aided me to pursue a career in science. As my knowledge increased, so did my interest, especially in the multifarious field of Life Sciences. With progress in my research, I eventually developed an interest in muscular atrophy and now I’m investigating the role of VDR signaling in skeletal muscle function.
