Professor Stuart Taylor Professor of Medical imaging within the Centre for Medical Imaging at University College London and is an NIHR senior investigator.
Stuart’s research focuses on developing and translating imaging technologies for the benefit of patients in the NHS. He has a particular interest in the use of MRI and ultrasound in inflammatory bowel disease, and the diagnosis and staging of cancer using CT and MRI. As well as investigating diagnostic accuracy of imaging technology, Stuart's research also evaluates the impact of imaging on clinical decision making and patient experience and preferences. He collaborates widely across a range of disciplines, and with patients.
He is a faculty member of the UCLH NIHR BRC and has received grant income from the NIHR HTA, EME and i4i schemes and has led several multicentre trials of imaging technologies within the NHS.
