Globalisation has been a disintegrating tradition in construction as well as in the implementation of cultural and social identities.The built environment in India has undergone a dramatic and unprecedented process of separation from the world of craft in the twentieth century. Marks an end to many centuries of consistent use of building crafts. The timeless principles used by generations of artisans and builders have entered an era of decline, especially where new built is concerned. The language of traditional architecture, managed by balancing significance of form and its physical expression, is now taught at only a few schools of thought.
