Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, and APD (Auditory Processing Disorder) are a few of the examples of Learning Disorders which will be covered within this site. These neurodevelopmental disorders (while they could be present even in the infantile stage) are most easily caught and diagnosed once formal schooling begins (Vidyadharan). Students with Learning Disorders may struggle with written, spoken, physical coordination or other performance-based tasks or find it hard to understand spoken or written instructions (Gupta). Students with Learning Disorders specifically struggle with processing and responding to the information they receive creating situations in which they must ask repeatedly for instructions that they aren't grasping verbally or perhaps cannot read their own handwriting no matter how neat and tidy they try to write it. Between all learning disabilities, the most important thing educators can do is be patient and never leave a student behind.
There are a few other Learning disorders, including:
Language processing disorder (LPD)
Nonverbal learning disabilities (NVLD)
Visual perceptual/visual motor deficit
