Behavior Disorders are defined by IDEA as any disorder effecting a student's ability to learn in the classroom due to factors outside of intellect, physical health, or sensory issues (eyesight, hearing, etc.). While all of those particular factors can surely affect any individual's ability to learn, students with behavioral disabilities may experience:
Internal hostility towards self and external hostility towards classmates
Extreme highs and extreme lows (mania and hypomania)
Insomnia
An enable to complete a single task in one sitting
An inability to self-regulate their emotions,
Having surges in energy levels
Struggling to sit still
