Changes to Bell Times for September, 2025
Families are advised that bell times for St. Michael Catholic School for the 2025-2026 school year, have been adjusted in accordance with Niagara Student Transportation Services, involving various other schools throughout the Region. Below is an outline of the new bell times for St. Michael Catholic School.

8:05 am - Supervision Begins

8:20am - Entrance/Announcements

2:30 - 2:40 pm - Dismissal

NEW SCHOOL BELL TIMES THIS YEAR! For non-bussed students, it is very important that parents ensure that their children arrive at school by 8:20 am and are picked up by 2:45 pm each day. In addition, parents also need to note that supervision begins at 8:05am. As a result, it is essential that parents drop children off after 8:05am so we can ensure that students are safely supervised when coming onto school property.

School Arrival: Please register on-line or on your personal device. If you do not have an email address to register on-line and report absences using the website or mobile app; please use the toll-free number, to report your child’s absence in advance. The toll free number is: 1 844 287 6287.

The school must have the same email address on file for your students for the registration process to work. Please contact the school if you require assistance or run into any issues with registering. All schools are asking our parents to do the following: Use the SafeArrival/ website Safe Arrival - Reporting a student's absence .

The first time you use the website, select Sign Up to create your account using your email address (make sure CANADA is selected). After logging in, select the Attendance tab to Report an Absence. Using your mobile device, download and install the School Messenger app (blue logo) from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store (or from the links at https://go.schoolmessenger.ca). Use your new login information to access your account. Select Attendance to Report an Absence. If you would like to receive attendance notifications on your mobile device please enable that in the Settings area of the app.

School Messenger is available 24 hours/day, 7 days a week. Future absences can be reported at any time.
