Welcome to BayaNIApp, the (un)official mobile application ("App") developed for the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) Region V. This app serves as a digital bridge between Filipino Farmers and NIA, providing a platform for reporting issues, requesting irrigation services, and receiving official updates.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using BayaNIApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately cease use of the App.
2. User Eligibility
• You confirm that you are at least 18 years old or possess legal parental or guardian consent.
• You agree to provide accurate and truthful information during registration.
3. User Accounts
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• NIA Region V reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts found to be providing false information or misusing the platform.
4. Appropriate Use
You agree to use the App lawfully and for its intended purpose. Prohibited activities include:
• Misrepresenting your identity or association with an IA (Irrigator's Association).
• Uploading malicious, false, or misleading reports and evidence.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other user accounts or NIA administrative data.
• Using the platform for commercial or political campaigning.
5. Privacy and Data Use
Your privacy is our priority. We collect basic information (Name, Address, IA Name, Contact) to facilitate irrigation services. Location data is only collected during report submission to pinpoint technical issues in the field. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.
6. Intellectual Property
• NIA RegionV-Owned Assets: All official logos, NIA branding, and regional data are the property of the National Irrigation Administration - Region V.
• User Content: Photos and descriptions uploaded in reports remain your property, but you grant NIA Region V a license to display and use this data to perform repairs and service evaluations.
7. Service Disclaimer
BayaNIApp is provided "AS IS." While we strive for 24/7 availability:
• NIA does not guarantee that the app will always be error-free or uninterrupted.
• Maintenance may lead to temporary downtime.
• Response times to reports and requests depend on regional office workloads and resource availability.
8. Indemnity
You agree to hold NIA Region V and its developers harmless from any claims or damages arising from your misuse of the App or any violation of these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines and Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
