All new choir members need to purchase a uniform to be worn during our winter and spring performances. Orders are due Friday, October 3.

Returning members need to locate and try on the uniform they have to make sure it still fits them. Any items that do not fit may be able to exchanged at no cost. Please reach out with any questions.

Back-To-School Night

Join us at VHS for Back-To-School Night on Thursday, September 4. Walk through your child's classes and meet the staff who will be working with them this year. The VHS Music Association will have a table outside of the music suite with membership forms and fundraising information.

If you aren't able to attend and want to become a member of the VHS Music Association, please click on the VHS Music Association link at the top of this page to find a link to their website where you can complete the membership form electronically.

Orlando Trip - Spring, 2026

Students in Marching Band, Concert Choir, and Freshman Choir will be traveling to Orlando in April. Trip information can be found by clicking on this link. All trip forms are due on Friday, October 17. Please note that some forms need to be notarized! There is an updated payment schedule for all new students.

Marching Band and Concert/Freshman Choir Trip to Virginia, April 18-21, 2024

A packet of information is available in the choir room or you can access it by clicking on this link. A parent meeting was held on Wednesday, September 13 at 6:00 pm in the choir room before the VHSMA meeting. If you were unable to attend that meeting, you can listen to an audio recording of the meeting here. This trip is going to be a great opportunity for our students!

2022 Coffeehouse: An Evening of Jazz

The VHS Choirs will host their annual Coffeehouse event on Friday, March 11. Performances will be at 6:00pm and 8:00pm. The theme chosen by students this year is jazz music and the evening will feature choral arrangements of popular jazz songs in addition to several senior performances. Light refreshments including pastries, coffee, and tea will be available for you to enjoy during the performance.
