How can you practice your spelling words at home or on your own? Here are some ideas to study your words. 

• Use magnetic or foam letters to spell out your words.

• Write your words on paper or a on a dry erase board.

• Use a jump rope and for each jump say a letter to spell your words. You can also spell your words while bouncing a ball or hopping. 

• Use the spelling city class website and play games with our spelling words. The link is on this page and will take you right to it!  

• Spell your words aloud so you can hear yourself saying/spelling them. 

• Use play dough and a tooth pick, write your words in play dough using the tooth pick. You can also do this with sand or flour in a tray.
