In the fourth nine weeks, students will:

• Keep a steady beat to a varied repertoire of music.  

• Sing simple songs.  

• Use movement with a rhythmic poem.  

• Add movement to music.  

• Play pitched and unpitched percussion instruments.  

• Play melodies of increasing difficulty on xylophones.  

• Students will receive a brief introduction to notes on a staff.
