How to play repeated notes
The difference between tonguing verses slurring notes
Building the skills of changing between notes within time
Note Accuracy
How to read notes on the musical staff
How to read notes within context while playing
How to read accidentals
Rhythmic Accuracy
Understand notes values of: whole, half, quarter, and eighth notes and the correspond rests
How to read and count rhythms both isolated and within context
Develop the ability to transfer rhythmic counting to playing both isolated and within context
Interpretation and Musicianship
Learn how to play alone and with others
Dynamics
Learn the definitions to dynamic associated terms
Develop the skills of playing dynamics within context
Balance and Blend
Learn how one part fits in with the context of the band
