Hello!

I am so excited to be teaching music at our wonderful school.  As a passionate elementary music educator, I focus on inspiring our children to love and develop an enthusiasm for music. I teach our students how to play instruments, find their singing voice, read music and express themselves creatively. During our 45 minute music class, we listen to many genres and styles of music. As we listen more intently, we learn how hear music in a different way and think critically about the 8 elements of music: 

• Pitch/Melody

• Harmony

• Rhythm/Tempo

• Dynamics

• Form

• Timbre

• Texture

• Tonality
