The Coastal Land Trust's annual Trick or Treat on the Trail
Seeking volunteers for an upcoming opportunity in Sneads Ferry, Onslow County. The Coastal Land Trust's annual Trick or Treat on the Trail event is on Saturday, October 31st on the beautiful Everett Creek Nature Preserve. The positions range from arts and crafts table, to environmental education, to passing out candy on the trail, and many more. There are various shifts available throughout the day. Each shift is only a few hours. This is a great opportunity for High School students to earn community service hours.

Lots of opportunity to volunteer at the finish line handing out water bottles, bananas, finisher medals, etc as well as on course cheering and helping with direction. It's a fun morning!

Health Careers Day on “The Hill” provides students interested in health professions with an opportunity to visit the UNC Chapel Hill campus, engage with health professional programs, and gain firsthand exposure to careers in healthcare.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about health career pathways, connect with current students and professionals, and explore the resources available at UNC Chapel Hill.
Registration Options:
Individual registration will be available for students who would like to attend independently.

Explorers Open House will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in the Rehab Gym.
