My name is Chloé Mabe and I am a third grade teacher here at Carolina Beach Elementary. I am so happy you're here! Let me introduce myself... I am originally from Yadkin County, North Carolina. I have always loved the beach and dreamed of one day moving to the coast. After high school, I moved to New Hanover County to attend UNCW where I obtained my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education K-6.

During my undergraduate career at UNCW I took a gap year that allowed me to travel, explore, and give back in different parts of the world! Over the years I have been to 14 different countries. One of my favorite things in life is getting to learn and be immersed in new places and cultures.
I interned here at CBES in college and happily accepted a job position in third grade right after graduation. This will be my seventh year teaching third grade, and I am beyond excited! To me, teaching is one of the most powerful jobs in the world! I love the opportunity I have to invest, encourage, and educate the next generation.
