About Me

My name is Lindsey Denston and this is my 20th year of teaching! I am from Ohio and we decided to move to this beautiful area 9 years ago. I have taught Kindergarten, First Grade, Third Grade, and literacy intervention.  I have my Master's Degree in Literacy and Curriculum. 

In my free time, I spend time with my family and friends. I have two children. Their names are Ruby and Josh. They are 12 and 10 and have also loved Carolina Beach Elementary. We like to swim, travel, go to amusement parks, and all kinds of fun, child friendly places. 

I feel very blessed to be a teacher at Carolina Beach Elementary and enjoy working with children and families every year. It is always so exciting to start a new school year and build relationships.
