If I am your child's case manager this year, I'll reach out to you to introduce myself and touch base about your goals and concerns for the school year. As your child's case manger I value your input and believe that our teamwork is what will best support your child's success.

We will meet at least once a year for your student's annual IEP meeting, if not more than once! If your student is up for reevaluation, if you have concerns, if we want to consider any changes to your child's plan, or collaborate to find better ways to support your student, we may meet again. If your student is headed to High School at the end of the year, we will meet at that time to discuss their transition!
I view my role as Case Manager as an advocate for the student. My number one priority is that we provide them with the most appropriate opportunities for success as they grow and learn at Williston Middle School. I work with students to develop self-awareness and self-advocacy skills to prepare them for the next step in their education.
