Hello!

STAE, Striving To Achieve Excellence, is a class that everyone at WECHS participates in. This class is designed to help students achieve academic, social, and college success. Your classroom teacher is also your adviser, and someone you can ask for help with whatever problems arise throughout the school year.

Here is the link for the county webpage if you want to learn more about the program in general.

STAE 9 & 10

STAE 9 will be taught by Mrs. Santo and be blended with English 1 Yearlong

STAE 10: This year instead of STAE 10 all Sophomores will be taking AP Seminar with Ms. Tabor. Certain STAE lesson, Check-Ins, and Methodize will be incorporated into my classes (Civic Literacy & Economics/Personal Finance) throughout the year.

STAE 11

There are two STAE 11 classes in the Fall - Online STAE 11 and In Person STAE 11. Both are year long: lessons will only be assigned in the Fall, but you must continue Methodize in the Spring. Everyone will complete digital or in person check-ins every other week.

Online STAE 11 students do not have a physical class to attend; but you are responsible for keeping up with all assignments. Failure to do these requirements will result in placement back in a In Person STAE 11 class.

STAE 11 students will meet either Mondays/Wednesdays or Tuesdays/Thursdays. You are responsible for completing all assignments and talking to your teacher if issues arise. Mrs. Wilt will be your teacher (kimberly.wilt@nhcs.net).
