Civics Literacy is taught in the Fall semester. You will learn about the US and NC governments, how the judicial system works, and what rights and duties you have as citizens.

If you ever want to supplement what we talk about in class, or watch certain videos again, Crash Course is a great site (and this one doesn't have John Green for those of you who feel strongly about him).

Khan Academy also has in-depth videos about American History and Civics that you may find helpful.

Canvas

We will be using Canvas for Civics and Economics

You will be able to access all notes, assignments, handouts, and announcements.

Be sure you are checking Canvas modules/calendars daily.

Extra Credit: Lesson Extension

You can do one per day week. They are due every Friday by 5pm.

Each completed assignment is worth up to 5 points each.
