About Ms. Bailey

I'm thrilled to be joining the 5th grade team at Codington this school year! I’ve been teaching for seven years. I began my career in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, where I taught special education resource classes for kindergarten through 5th grade. In 2021, I moved to New Hanover County and continued in a similar role at Snipes Academy.

In 2022, I made the exciting transition to become a 4th grade classroom teacher—and I absolutely fell in love with it. I enjoyed building strong connections with my students and watching them grow throughout the year. Now, I’m looking forward to starting this new adventure in 5th grade!

Outside the classroom, I’m a cheerleading coach at New Hanover High School. Cheer has always been a passion of mine, and I love getting to share that joy through coaching.
