Students are listening to a variety of fictional stories. They will identify the characters and describe the setting. Students will practice retelling the story by detailing the events that happened in the beginning, middle and end, using details from the text.

Students are writing narratives in which they recount two or more sequenced events, include some details regarding what happened, use temporal words to signal event order, and provide some sense of closure. 

This week we will continue with Module 1 Lessons 7-11. Students will practice counting on to find the total number of objects in a set and represent the total with and addition number sentence.
