About Me

Hello! My name is Angelica Hicks, and I’m thrilled to be your teacher this year! I grew up in sunny California and taught there for ten wonderful years before moving to Wilmington, NC. Since then, I've had the joy of teaching, where every day brings new adventures.

My husband Rob is also a teacher. He teaches sixth-grade math at Noble Middle. Our daughter,  Jasmine, is a Senior at Laney High School and keeps busy with soccer. We also have two pugs, Oliver and Belle who love nothing more than snuggling and sleeping with us. 

In my free time, I enjoy visiting the beach and spending quality time with my family. I am really looking forward to a fantastic year together, filled with learning and fun! Let’s make this a memorable year!
