This DBQ will serve as a way to gauge where students are at the beginning of your class on the following skills: Document Analysis, Gathering Evidence, and Communicating Historical Analysis. At least one document should be read and interpreted independently by students
Unit 4: How did the Constitution Guard Against Tyranny?
Students may work in groups or pairs to read through and analyze the documents. One document should be analyzed independently, and students should do the essay/product individually without support
Unit 8: The Atomic Bomb: Did Truman Make the Right Decision
This assessment is a final exam. At least one document should be analyzed independently, and the essay/product should be completed individually without support as well.
