Miss Keegan  

Hi everyone! 

My name is Ashley Keegan and I love being a part of the Forest Hills Elementary community. I am originally from a small town in Connecticut, came down to North Carolina in 2009 to go to East Carolina University and never went back! I recently received my National Board Certification in literacy, an accomplishment I am very proud of. This will be my 13th year teaching and 6th year here at Forest Hills. I am beyond excited to start this new journey with an awesome team and share my love for reading to help our students grow throughout this school year! I am a strong believer that through communication and positive relationships we can achieve anything. I know this year is going to be an awesome one! When I'm not teaching I enjoy cooking, exploring new places around Wilmington, live music, reading, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
