Welcome! Laney High School's Student Government is a group of diverse student advocates striving to support our fellow Bucs while also changing our campus for the better each and every year!  We work with teachers, student support staff members, administrators, and other stakeholders to make sure our voices as students are being heard.  Not only are we involved on campus, we are involved in the surrounding community to help make a difference as well!

SGA's 2023 Candygram Fundraiser was a hit! Together, we raised over $1,000 that went towards providing Christmas presents for two families via the Wilmington Domestic Violence Shelter. Ms. Miller and students are pictured dropping off the presents in December 2023.

The Laney Bucs raised over 650 non-perishable food items for the 2023 NHCS Thanksgiving Coalition Food Drive. Collectively, area high schools raised over 1,000 items for our community.
