In order to get into prom, you must...

+ Have a ticket and picture ID.  Really.  We check your ID against the prom guest list to make sure your ticket number matches the name and the name matches the face.

+ Dress appropriately.  This is a formal event.  If your clothing choices are determined to be too casual, too revealing, or otherwise inappropriate, you may be refused admission.

+ Understand that your purse/bag will be checked as a standard security measure.

+ Not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol.  Each student will be breathalyzed before entry. Anyone under the influence will be refused admission and turned over to authorities.

For Student Government Council:

Prom is a very important job and as SGA we need to make a memorable event for the students of Laney High School.

If you join a subcommittee, you need to be 100% committed and make it a priority.
