About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in Connecticut. My family moved down to North Carolina after I graduated high school. I then attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina where I majored in Elementary Education with a Concentration in Reading. I graduated in 2008 and moved to Wilmington, NC.

I have been teaching at Snipes for twelve years, this is year 13! I have taught Kindergarten for nine years and this is my 4th year teaching first grade!

My husband Scott and I got married during Hurricane Matthew on October 8, 2016! Our son, Casler is 9 months old and was born on October 10, 2019! In my free time I love to read, play with my son and workout!

I love teaching, it is my passion and I can't wait for this school year!
