The Coolidge Scholarship is an annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that  may be used at any accredited college or university in the United States.

Finalists are flown in for a finalist weekend at the Coolidge Historic Site in Plymouth Notch, Vermont where they interview with the Coolidge Scholars Finalist Jury. Recipients of the Coolidge Scholarship are notified of their award late in their junior year, before college application (note: current high school seniors are not eligible to apply). Finalists who are not named Coolidge Scholars are eligible to receive a smaller, one-time, college scholarship.

Students apply for the Coolidge Scholarship during their junior year of high school.

Submission deadline is 1/13/2024.

(Please know that the application requires that candidates read President Coolidge’s Autobiography and a few other reading assignments, and then write three essays. We therefore encourage students to begin the application early. Candidates who begin the application at the last minute are unlikely to be successful.)

Governor's Page Program

Established in 1973, the Governor’s Page Program gives high school students from all over North Carolina the opportunity to come to Raleigh for a week of hands-on participation in their state government. We want the Page Program to represent North Carolina’s diverse communities and help inspire a new generation of leaders.

During the week, Pages will be onsite in the Governor’s Office and will also tour government buildings and historic sites including the Legislative Building, the State Capitol, the Executive Mansion, and the North Carolina Museum of History. In addition, pages will have the opportunity to develop a policy proposal with policy officials from various state government departments.

There is no GPA requirement. Any students may apply in their junior and senior year. There are several weeks (including virtual options) typically available from January - December. View their website here

Please see Ms. Crudeli for additional details if interested.
