Step 1: Complete an Online Application through CFNC.org
Click the green "Log In" button on the top right of the screen. If you know you have an account but cannot remember your login credentials, you can recover that information using the forgot username and/or forgot password buttons. If you do not have an account, click Create One Today! We suggest using your personal email address if you have one. Once you are in your account, go to Apply to College, click on Application Hub, then click Start an Application. Choose the application for Cape Fear Community College that says "Cape Fear Community College Dual Enrollment (CCP) Application". Fill in all information (only the questions with an asterisk (*) are required). Be sure to check the box at the end to send your transcript. (If you do not put in your Infinite Campus #, you won't be able to do this).
Step 2: Complete the Pathway Approval Form (DocuSign form)
Make sure you select the best pathway for you! You will only be able to register for classes in that pathway.
Click this link for College Transfer Pathway. You can view all the College Transfer Pathways here to know what classes are available in each. You must have at least a 2.8 UNWEIGHTED GPA to do this pathway.
Click this link for Career Technical Pathway. You can view the CTE Pathways here to know what classes are available in each.

Once you complete all the information in this form and submit it, it will go to the parent email address you put in on the first screen. Once they complete all the information and submit the form, it will go to the Hoggard representative for them to sign. For students doing a College Transfer Pathway, the form will go to Mrs. Loesch. For students doing a CTE Pathway or Workforce Development, it will go to Ms. Coston.
Step 3: Review and Sign the Hoggard CCP Student/Guardian Agreement
Please print, sign and return this form / Spanish version to Mrs. Loesch or to the front office. You can also scan it and email to crystal.loesch@nhcs.net.
Step 4: Account Set Up/Class Registration
Approximately 2 weeks after completing all the steps above:
You will receive an email from CFCC with your information to set up your account (Be sure to be checking your SPAM folder).
Complete online orientation (you will not be able to register for classes without this step).

Step 2: Submit UNCW Application
Submit a UNCW application for dual-enrollment. You can apply online through the UNCW Application. Please put mackenzie.ford@nhcs.net as the counselor.
Application deadlines are firm and therefore, late applications will NOT be considered.
Step 3: Submit Test Scores
Send Official SAT, ACT Composite, PSAT or Pre-ACT scores
Step 4: Complete Enrollment Checklist
Once accepted, you will want to be sure to complete the UNCW Enrollment Checklist and schedule your classes.

Dual-enrollment applications are valid for one semester only. If you are interested in continuing to take courses at UNCW for a future semester, you must submit another dual-enrollment application for that specific term.
Registration Information
An email will be sent to your UNCW email account from the Office of the Registrar that will include information on registering for courses. Please check your UNCW email by logging into mySeaport. In this email, you will receive instructions on how to access your registration time ticket. Please note that your time ticket will be assigned approximately 24-48 hours after your receive your admission decision.
Should the courses you wish to take have pre-requisite requirements, or if you encounter any registration issues, please contact the Office of the Registrar, 910-962-3125 or registrar@uncw.edu. All emails should be sent directly from your UNCW email account and should include your UNCW ID number.
