Holly Shelter Middle School
Orchestra & Guitar Ensemble Final Concert
Thursday, May 19th, 2022 - 6:30 PM
Holly Shelter Middle School Auditorium
Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are very excited to present our final concert of the season! As a performing group, we rely on each other to create music and each and every member of the group is important. Here are some details regarding the event.
Orchestra and guitar ensemble are performance-based courses. Therefore, students are required to attend all school orchestra and guitar ensemble performances unless there are extenuating circumstances.
Students will receive a grade based upon attendance and participation at these concerts. Students who do not attend the concert will be given an assignment of a similar performance in class.
Call time for students is 6:00 PM. This will allow for enough time to tune instruments, gather music, and head to their seat in the auditorium.
If there is a conflict of time, please let Ms. Fout know as soon as possible and we will work out a solution.
Please make sure your student brings all required materials, including instrument, music, and instrument accessories.
Dress code for students is full length black bottoms, dark shoes, and a dark green top.
Students must have transportation home by 7:30PM after the concert. If you have concerns regarding transportation, please contact Ms. Fout or school administration as soon as possible.
It is expected that students stay for the entirety of the concert unless prior arrangements have been made with Ms. Fout.
If your student will be absent from the concert, please contact Ms. Fout as soon as possible.
If you have any questions at all, please email @amory.fout@nhcs.net or call (910) 602-4046 x7250
