Hello, my name is Sarah Stepanski and I am so happy to serve as Gregory's Gifted Education Specialist! This is my 10th year teaching and my 8th year in gifted education. I grew up in Los Angeles, CA amongst a community of strong public educators, and it is my passion to foster a creative, challenging, and engaging classroom that helps each student to discover and refine their passions! I hold a Masters of Education in Curriculum & Instruction and Masters of Public Administration in Education Policy.

NHCS AIG (Academically and Intellectually Gifted Program) 

New Hanover County Schools want to ensure that all students are being challenged and supported to grow academically and creatively. To this end, NHCS supports a gifted and talented education program throughout its K-12 schools. Ms. Stepanski is the Gifted Education Specialist (GES) assigned to Gregory to support its gifted students as well as those who show potential. Ms. Stepanski works closely with classroom teachers to ensure there are a wide variety of high-interest and rigorous opportunities to keep students engaged and growing.
