The Trask Band is supported by The Landfall Foundation. Thank you for your generous support! We are pleased to announce that we have purchased 4 new instruments for our band program with funds from a Landfall Foundation grant - 2 clarinets, an alto saxophone, and a baritione saxophone. These new instruments are replacing old / worn out instruments which no longer work properly.
Thank you also to Christa Faison and Heather Pellicie at the NHCS central office who helped us secure funding for an alto saxophone, euphonium, new crash cymbals, and a new snare drum! All told, the Trask Bands have received over $13,000 in new instruments this year. It has made a tremendous difference for our our students to have fully functioning, high-quality instruments that will sound great for decades. Thank you again to the Landfall Foundation and to NHCS for supporting our Bands!
Thanks and Gratitude: Tonight's concert would not be possible without the help and support of the Trask Faculty and Administration, the NHCS Arts Team, and of course the support of all the student's parents and families. Thank you to Bob Pearson and his students from the Laney HS Band for joining us on this concert. Thank you also to everyone who donated to our Music Library, especially the McNeil family who made a donation, but unfortunately, we were not able to perform their piece this year. If you'd like to participate in this program, we suggest a donation of $50.
I would like to dedicate tonight's concert to the students in the 8th grade band. Thank you for 3 wonderful years of music making. I'm honored you chose to participate in band. I hope it gave you friendships, memories, and experiences to last a lifetime.
Upcoming Events (Subject to Change):
