This year in math, we will primarily be using Eureka Math. This will include workbooks, lots of hands-on manipulative work, as well as partner and group learning. 

In fourth grade we cover:

word problems using addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division 

addition and subtraction of whole numbers up to and including 100,000 

three-digit multiplication and division 

fractions (comparing, finding equivalents, multiplying, representing as decimals) 

metric measurement 

elapsed time 

area and perimeter 

graphing (frequency tables, scaled bar graph, and line plots) 

angles and angle measurement 

attributes of shapes
