Civics is one of the 4 required Social Studies you must pass to receive your High School Diploma.

-Requirements and Responsibilities of Citizens of all Levels of Government
-Political Parties and Interest Groups and the Role Each Plays in Providing Balance and
Resolving Conflict
-Purpose of Laws, and how they are Enacted, Implemented, and Enforced at all Levels of Government
-Factors that Influence the American Economic System and the Governments role in that

- WHEN laptops are handed out have your laptop EVERYDAY

-RESPECT Other’s Property and Ideas—even if you don’t like or agree
-Be on Time
-Be Prepared
-Work is Due on Due Date—you are informed ahead of time so don’t procrastinate
-Come Ready to Work, Learn and Participate Every day!!! NO SLEEPING or working on other
classes work.
Attendance—It is taken every day
Homework—I do not assign a ton of homework but the expectation is that you do your work in class. If you waste your work time you will be finishing work at home.
Quizzes—will be done periodically announced and unannounced.
