Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, the Ashley High School Band Program serves nearly 100 student musicians each semester through a wide range of performance and educational opportunities. Our ensembles are active throughout the region and beyond, and Ashley proudly hosts the NCBA Eastern District MPA South each March.

In March 2026, both Ashley concert bands earned Superior ratings at the NCBA Eastern District South Site MPA. Wind Ensemble received Superior ratings on stage and in sight-reading with Grade VI literature, and Concert Band received Superior ratings on stage and in sight-reading with Grade IV literature.

We are incredibly proud of the students’ musicianship, preparation, and growth behind these results!
