My name is Julie Snodgrass and I am a 5th grade teacher at Pine Valley Elementary School. I graduated from SUNY Oswego in 2008 with a Bachelor's Degree in Childhood Education followed by a Master's Degree in Literacy from SUNY Albany. After graduating, I taught Kindergarten and 1st grade for two years in NY and then made a big move down to the Wilmington area for some warmer weather! I was extremely fortunate to be hired at Pine Valley in 2010. This will be my tenth year teaching 5th grade at PVES!
Last year was an exciting year for my husband and I as we welcomed our first child, Jayden into our lives! He is now a toddler and is keeping us on our toes! We also have two super energetic pups, Sydney and Zona. Our family loves being outdoors. We spend a lot of time running and at the beach. We also love Disney and can't wait to take Jayden on many trips there!
As always, I am looking forward to what this school year has to offer. I am confident that it will be an exciting and rewarding year. I love being a part of the growth and development of my 5th graders and can't wait to see what this year has in store!
