Vision Statement

Remove financial stress that often accompanies life's unexpected hardships, while bringing awareness to those life events.

Our Mission

To lessen the financial stresses, that often come with life's unexpected events, of those within our community. We strive to organize an annual day of fun, via the Cougar Color Run/Walk, and showcase the amount of support, love, and generosity a community like ours has to offer to each and every member. Additionally, where appropriate, we hope to raise awareness about the specific issue in honor of our annually chosen recipient.

Who Are We?

The Cougar Color Run/Walk is an annual event hosted by North Harrison High School's LEO Club. LEO Club is a student-ran organization, primarily partnering with a local Lions Club, striving to execute any and all community service based activities that would positively impact our community members and surrounding area.

Why Do We Exist?

Unfortunately, within recent years we have had members of our community- current students, North Harrison alumni, community members, etc.- experience unimaginable circumstances. It is because of the love and generosity we long to show, that we have created an annual event as a way to generate profits, via participation and generous contributions, that are directly donated back to that annually identified person and/or family in need.

What exactly is the Cougar Color Run?

The Cougar Color Run/Walk is a FAMILY FUN nonprofit event- all are welcome. Cougar Color Run participants will have the option of WALKING or RUNNING in one of two different length courses. The first course is a shortened 1 mile, while the other is a traditional 5K (3.1 miles).

In addition to the walk/run, anyone in the community is invited to enjoy the following:

Q Pine BBQ Kitchen & Catering and Mama B's Kitchen will have their FOOD TRUCKS on site for anyone to purchase (you do not have to be registered for the Color Run to show up for the food trucks)

Please stick around after the Cougar Color Run, and take advantage of the other activities available to people of all ages- event runs from 5:30pm to 8pm on Friday, April 22, 2022. Color Run begins at 6pm.

There is NO ADMISSION FEE for those visiting the event and not participating in the run/walk
