College Board!

Juniors and Seniors!


  • Spring of Junior and Fall of Senior year

      • Meet with Mrs. Teske to discuss your courses, your college interests, and to make sure you are on track with all graduation requirements!

  • Browse and select colleges to apply to.

  • Sign up for college visits as admission reps virtually visit PVA.

  • Sign up for SAT or ACT tests and ask Mrs. Teske or Mrs. Gillespie for fee waivers if you need it.

  • Complete FAFSA as soon as possible after October 1.

  • Sign up for Going Merry for easy FAFSA completion with over a 1,000 scholarships!

  • Create a CSS/Financial Aid profile.

  • Ask teachers to write recommendation letters or fill out recommendation forms.

  • Write college application essays and ask for teachers to edit or proofread them!

  • Create a Parchment account and send your transcripts to schools as you complete applications.

Colleges that no longer require SAT/ACT test for admittance.

Parchment

Parchment is used to send out student transcripts. After submitting an application to a College or University, students will need to request their transcript to be sent to the College/University.

At the end of the year students will need to request their transcript a final time and select the option "hold for grades."
