Pre-Algebra - Block 1
The students are doing a nice job with our unit on scatter plots and data! We will be talking about lines of best fit this week.
Pre-Algebra Plus - Block 2
We are back in unit 5 working with volume! This week we will be working with the relationship between volume and height and will work on coming up with the formula for the volume of a cylinder and cone.
Algebra - Block 3
We will be working on learning the different ways in which we can solve a quadratic equation.

Students are working on a unit called "Facing the Future." We are reading The Giver by Lois Lowry, and we are also doing a practice application project for a college of our choice. After our final unit, students will be getting ready for 8th grade graduation!
