"All of science is nothing more than a refinement of everyday thinking." -Albert Einstein
Over the course of the year, we will learn about various topics of Space and Earth science. We will also be looking at the Big Bang Theory, Earth's 4.6 billion year timescale, Pangaea, and climate change as scientific theories. An email about this went home at the beginning of the year.
Class Tips:
Test Study Guides will always be handed out a week before the test. Study Guides are due the day of the test and cannot be turned in late.
All notes are posted on Google Classroom. If a student is absent, it is their responsibility to copy them down.
Notes can be used on any test for a maximum grade of an 85%, however they must be the student's own notes.
Test corrections can always be done for every test. They are due a week after the test is passed back and gone over, and can not be turned in late.
Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome. - Booker T. Washington

We are wrapping up our studies of Africa, moving from Western Africa to Southern Africa. Students are learning about the physical geography, history, and how people live.
REMEMBER, if your student did poorly on an assignment or test, they are welcome to do a retake provided they study the materials.
Our assignments are shared via google classroom. Please have your student access our google classroom and show you our assignments.
