If you know you will need help in advance, please sign up so we can prepare and ensure someone is available to assist you.
Drop-in:
Visit the Peer Tutoring Room at any time to see if a student tutor is available during that hour.
By Teacher Request:
If a teacher sees that you could benefit from some tutoring, they are able to either send you to the room for help immediately, or they may also sign you up with the link.
Only Peer Tutors and those with whom they are working are allowed in the Peer Tutoring room. We want to maintain an inviting atmosphere for any student to feel comfortable enough to drop in!
(Friends hanging out together in the room can be very intimidating; therefore, this is not allowed.)
Inside voices, please. The lab is connected to the library, which is a quiet space, and others may also be tutoring.
No eating lunch in the Peer-Tutoring Lab unless you are assigned to tutor during Tier 2 and you are a Senior.
Clean up after yourself. Chairs and tables should be in place. Small wrappers and paper should be disposed of in the trash. And remember to take all of your belongings.
Keep the door to the Math Hallway closed at all times. Please enter and exit the peer tutoring room through the library. Mrs. Brenkman is in charge of supervising the room, and it is much easier to keep track of students if they enter and exit through the library. Thank you!
