Thank you letters and notes build strong networks and relationships. The ideal note is brief and to the point. Start by thanking the person, with specificity, for their act of kindness and time. Write about how their actions made you feel. End by reiterating your thanks.
Here are FIVE steps you can take when writing your thank you note.
Start with a salutation.
Get right to the point and express your thanks.
Mention a specific detail or two.
Look ahead.
Wrap it up with more gratitude and a warm sign-off.
You will write a thank you email or note to your Community Support Partner. Use the same format below for both the email and note. Make sure you bring your Community Support Partner's email or mailing address (plus a stamp) to the senior capstone work day. A copy of your thank you will be uploaded to your e-portfolio.
