During the 2018-2019 school year, the Newton Falls Tiger Cheerleaders hosted their first official "Newton Falls Alumni Cheer Night". During a home varsity football game, all alumni cheerleaders, cheer coaches, and mascots were invited back to Newton Falls High School be recognized for their contribution to Newton Falls Tiger History. The cheerleaders hosted a tailgate with treats for the alumni and sold shirts for the event. Over 50 alumni cheerleaders, coaches, and mascots attended!
During the 2018-2019 School year, the boys basketball program hosted its Annual Honor Our Past Night. At this event we honored the 1998-1999 boys basketball district champions and their cheerleaders.

During the 2019-2020 school year, the high school cheerleading team hosted the second Alumni Tiger Cheer event during a high school boys basketball game. The evening consisted of a display of Tiger Cheer memorabilia for everyone to enjoy with treats and pins for our cheer alumni, followed by a halftime recognition of all of our alumni Tiger Cheerleader and Mascots.

During the 2019-2020 school year, the boys basketball program hosted its Annual Honor Our Past Night. At this event we honored the 1974-1975 Trumbull "AA" League Boys Basketball Champions and their cheer squad, along with the 2010 boys basketball regional finalists.
Representing the 1974-1975 Cheer Squad was Cheryl Trella Kelley, Cyndi Shade Hogue, and Nancy Thomas Humes, who were recognized for their efforts in contributing to Tiger Cheer History.
Representing the 2009-2010 Cheer Squad was Danielle Smalley Richmond to be recognized for her contributions to Tiger Cheer History.
The evening consisted of a social prior to the game for players, cheerleaders and their families to reminisce on the memories of those seasons, followed by a recognition ceremony prior to the start of the Varsity Boys Basketball game.

During the 2021-2022 school year, the Newton Falls Tiger Varsity Football Team and Cheerleaders honored the 1970 Varsity Tiger Football Team and Cheerleaders for their 9-1 Tiger season. Many members of the football team and cheer squad, along with senior members of the marching band, majorettes, and pep club, joined us for a tailgate social followed by a pre-game recognition on the field. The event was a great night for all, followed the by the class of 1970's class reunion that weekend.
During the 2024-2025 School Year, the Newton Falls High School Cheerleaders invited Alumni Cheerleaders to the homecoming game for pre-game festivities and to cheer with them!
