During the 1944-1945 school year a team cheerleading photo shows Ida June King, David French, and Mae Teuscher.

The team description says that it was the first year for: Ida June King (Senior), David French (Sophomore), and Jimmy Lacavazzo (Senior).

Verna Mae Teuscher(Senior) was a returning cheerleader from last year. This would suggest that there were cheerleaders in the 1943-1944 school year, but she is not noted in they yearbook from that year.

In the senior biographic summaries, the following have cheerleading listed:

• Ida June King: 12th grade
• Verna Mae Teuscher: 11th and 12th grade
• Marilou Smith 11th grade
