A lot of exciting things happening at the Agriculture Science Center!! 

We incorporated a chicken coop as well as a grain storage bin for feed! 

The chicken coop will be operated by the Junior High Agriculture class and the 3rd grade! We would like to thank Jeanne Meacham for incorporating a grant to purchase the chicken coop. 

We harvested our third crop of alfalfa in July, 2026 which produced 8.4 tons from the first cutting and 2.4 tons for the second cutting. We totaled 10.8 tons of alfalfa. The alfalfa will be used to feed the FFA heifers this winter. 

Justin Meacham won the FFA heifers for the 2024-2026 school year. Both heifers calves this spring and one was a healthy bull calf and the other heifer lost her calf.  

Slater Kuther and Paityn Ralstin received the FFA cows this summer.
