For Immediate Release

Silsbee, TX. July 30, 2023 - "Today, I officially announce my candidacy for HD18 State Representative."

After consulting with my family, friends, neighbors and asking God for guidance, I have decided to run for State Representative from House District 18.  I am a lifelong Republican. I'm a wife, mother, and a grandmother.  I am a former educator, community leader, and a red-blooded, Bible-believing, unapologetic Christian conservative who has never wavered in my firm conservative values and beliefs.

It is my commitment to our shared beliefs, faith in what's right and confidence in the voters of HD18 that has inspired me to take on this task. However, no battle like this can be won alone - we must do this together!

2024 will be a big election year for our district, state, and for our country, so we must be ready to secure our borders, support our family and parental rights, promote our Republican priorities and stop cozying up to the liberals who wish to "fundamentally change our country" into something we cannot even recognize.

As your Senate District 3 State Republican Executive Committeewoman, and as a community leader, I have personally fought in the trenches for our values for years.

With our powerful united voice - fueled by faith, family and freedom - we will ignite the revolution in conservatism and inspire the direct actions we must take to save our republic!

I am Janis Holt, and I am asking for your support in my bid for State Representative for HD18.  Thank you.
