A reminder that the CCA portal has opened to allow activity choices for music ensembles.

Learners are encouraged to participate for the whole Semester (Terms 3 and 4) as they will be rehearsing for music concerts and school events which occur in the remainder of the year.

MUSIC ENSEMBLES START ON MONDAY 21 JANUARY

All learners (except beginners) who are learning an instrument through the Nexus Instrumental Programme are expected to join a music ensemble for the year. Learners who were previously in an ensemble will automatically carry over unless they wish to withdraw. Please email your ensemble director to notify them or contact music@nexus.edu.sg

Instructions for signing up/withdrawing from a music ensemble

1. Sign into the CCA portal and locate ‘2018-2019 AY2018/19 Music’ header, click on view/manage/submit activity choices. (Please note parents must make selections for learners in Year 4 and below. From Year 5 upwards, learners can make their own selections, with guidance from parents where appropriate).
2. Select the ensembles you would like to join by entering the number ‘1’ then press submit. (Please ensure you consider what commitments you have made to, ACSIS sport, swimming and mother tongue programmes when selecting your music ensembles).
3. You can withdraw from a previously approved ensemble by replacing the existing number with a ‘0’.
