Careers and University Update

Our Year 13 learners have hit the ground running this year with a focus on their future opportunities beyond Nexus. They have recently joined a new platform, Cialfo, which will support their university research and application process over the coming months. Friday mornings have been allocated as a time where they can meet with Ms Aine to learn more about their prospective courses, familiarise themselves with application processes and stay on top of important deadlines. Our Year 12 learners kick-started the year with a focus on their university options when they attended an introductory workshop on ‘Life After Nexus’. They were excited to meet with Shubhangi Goel, a recent Nexus graduate, who scored an impressive 44 points in the IBDP and has just started her double major at NUS. Shubhangi shared personal experiences of her university application process as well as general advice about IBDP subject choices and top tips for success in the exams.
