"Fly Me To The Moon" - Secondary Music Ensembles Concert

Last Thursday our Secondary Music Ensembles took us on a journey to the moon and back, what a blast into the start of term 2! An astounding range of performances, with music carefully selected in relation to 'The Moon' filled the Nexus Auditorium. Learners who regularly participate in the Secondary Choir, Chamber Choir, Guitar Ensemble and the Secondary Orchestra all performed; as well as special performances from Year 8, Y10 IGCSE Band and a premier from IB learner Udit Srivathsan commissioned composition 'The Pioneer'.

Thank you to all involved in the evening's performances; our music team Andrew Fordham who works alongside our Secondary learners daily, Christopher jung and Natassja de Toit, Hiro Maekawa our newly appointed guitar teacher and Mr Tee who throughout the evening supported our Tech Team learners. Thank you to Nicola Harte, Hannah Swinbourne and Sylvia Klinzing for performing alongside the learners, marketing and facilities. And finally to our parents and learners for your on-going support. The standard each year grows and the dedication demonstrated by our learners is incredible. You are all wonderful young musicians.
