Dear Nexus Community

It was great to have so many parents signed up for The Nexus Way workshop with over 40 parents attending online. Thanks to Paul Beach for sharing the elements of The Nexus Way with our families. We did try to make it a little more interactive and will keep thinking about how we can make our workshops as engaging as we can until we can get you back on campus again.

Last week, I hope you all heard all about our Lion's Pride Merlion event and got involved. Lots of merlions were painted and the mural is looking fabulous. Do take a look at the front page to see the final amount raised for the President's Challenge! Also, if you had a parent merlion painting party of 5, please send in pictures for us to share. We can't wait to see your designs!

Next week, as part of our Global Goals week and focus on 'Good Health and Well-being', our counsellor and psychologist Bianca Kelly will be talking about how to support your child if they are suffering from anxiety with the current Covid situation. We hope you will find the session helpful. Next Tuesday's workshop is fully booked but please take a look at our other Parent Workshops here.

The following week is the NCG AGM, so please sign up if you want to come along. If anyone missed the sign-up to express interest in joining the NCG committee, drop me an email today! The Terms of Reference are now on the Parent Portal. This is a framework to guide us. We want to work in an open, transparent way, and of course have fun!
