We really appreciate the feedback given through our Parents Annual Survey, and would like to share with you a summary of the results. Overall, the responses were positive, with an average positive response of 88.5%.
The three questions with the highest satisfaction were: “I trust that my child is safe on school trips”, “School support staff members (non-teaching) are friendly and helpful”, and “I am satisfied with the First Aid room and certified nurse on campus”.
The three questions with the lowest satisfaction were: “I receive regular updates on my child’s progress”, “I am satisfied with the service and quality provided by the uniform vendor” and “I received written information about the learning objectives and teacher expectations for my child’s coursework”.
We very much appreciate all your feedback. The annual survey is just one way that we collect your feedback. We encourage parents to contact the school if there are any improvements you feel we can make, or just to let us know what you think we are doing well! Look out for the NCG forums where we listen to your comments on various areas of school life. We continue to find ways we can improve to be the best school we can be!
We are this year's Junior Achievement participants, and we need your help. Clothes are a part of our everyday lives. Sadly, billions of items of clothing are burned and disposed of each year! We are trying to make a change for a more sustainable future. We are recycling and up-cycling unwanted and old Nexus uniforms/clothes into caps and bucket hats.
We are currently running low on supply of clothing and it would be appreciated if you can contribute to decreasing wastage of clothes by donating your old and unused uniforms. If you have some clean and unwanted Nexus uniforms, please ask your child to bring it into school and pass it to Learner Services or to their homeroom teacher.
We are also planning to donate parts of the profits to a charity. Thank you for your support!
